The Weapons System Requirements Analyst will be on a dynamic team, supporting Team Submarine In‑service Program Office. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.Team Submarine's Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office is responsible for: construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines, financial and budget management, shipyard support of submarines, vendor support of submarines, logistical support, quality assurance (SUBSAFE), and post‑delivery submarine certifications and test programs.The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine‑related activities into a single submarine‑centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.David Drury ( ) leads this team as a Navy veteran. The team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.ResponsibilitiesConduct research and analysis of military capabilities across multiple disciplines including aviation, ground combat, intelligence, command and control, and opposing forces to identify changes in adversary capabilities, vulnerabilities, and potential courses of action.Participate in detailed test and evaluation planning meetings to coordinate the test execution of Strike mission planning.Coordinate with OPTEVFOR and DOT&E Stakeholders to develop the Test and Evaluation Master Plan and Integrated and Evaluation Framework.Coordinate with Warfare Centers to plan, schedule, and execute first of class post delivery events.Provide technical accuracy reviews of SWS and SWSS coordination drawings.Participate in SWS and SWSS construction test program stakeholder meetings to ensure program office DT requirements are met.Author developmental test summary assessments to provide objective analyses of platform requirements.Lead efforts supporting the review and evaluation of submarine operating procedures, instructions, and technical manuals in development in coordination with NAVSEA personnel and other Navy stakeholders.Provide expert insight and analysis of submarine system specifications and architectural drawings to support component evaluations, design modifications, and documentation revisions.Collaborate with interagency teams and internal departments to support the development and validation of inspection, maintenance, and testing procedures specific to submarine systems and operations.Develop and present high-quality analytical products, briefings, training modules, and evaluation tools to military customers and decision‑makers.Support policy and procedure development within military and defense communities, including interagency or community‑wide coordination.Interact routinely with external customers and internal functional teams to determine project scope, objectives, and deliverables.May supervise, mentor, and guide the work of junior analysts or project team members.Perform additional administrative duties and emergent tasks as assigned.QualificationsThe ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DoD Secret Security Clearance.U.S. CitizenshipA Bachelor's degree and 5 years of SSBN Missile Technician (MT) experienceOR A High School Diploma and 9 years of experiencePrior DASO experience and/or post SSBN ERO SITP experiencePrior SP205 or SPP51 experienceKnowledge in the following: SWS – Strategic Weapons SystemSWSS – Strategic Weapon Support SystemProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) with advanced user capabilities.Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.Strong written and oral communication skills to deliver clear, concise briefings and develop strong professional relationships.High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing requirements.The ability to travel up to 10%.Pay TransparencyOur Total Rewards package includes competitive pay, performance‑based incentives, and benefits that promote well‑being and work‑life balance—so you can thrive both professionally and personally.Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRobust vacation and sick leave benefits, and flexible work arrangements where permitted by role or contract401(k) plan that includes employer matching fundsTuition reimbursement programLife insurance and disability coverageOptional coverages that can be purchased, including pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protectionBirth, adoption, parental leave benefitsEmployee Assistance PlanSalary RangeSalary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting.
