We are seeking a Loss Control Consultant to support mid‑size commercial accounts and provide loss control execution and technical support across the broader client portfolio. Local Heart - Scale, resources, and expertise — with relationships that feel personal.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do / Your ImpactClient Servicing – Mid‑Size AccountsExecute the Annual Client Service Plan for assigned mid‑size commercial accountsServe as the primary loss control contact for assigned clientsConduct site visits, safety reviews, and scheduled service touchpointsCoordinate loss control activities with Account Managers and ProducersOperational ExcellenceDevelop and deliver client‑specific safety training and loss control presentationsAnalyze loss runs and support carrier loss control visits and follow‑upReceive, track, and document carrier loss control recommendationsCoordinate recommendation completion with clients and internal teamsResource & Program DevelopmentBuild and maintain a library of standardized loss control resources, including training materials, checklists, and safety toolsDevelop reusable, client‑facing materials for common hazard categoriesSupport consistent delivery of loss control services across the client baseStrategic ContributionConduct pre‑RFP prospect research, including OSHA history, loss data, and hazard profilesPrepare research summaries to support Director‑led new business presentationsParticipate in internal initiatives to improve loss control processes and toolsEngage in professional development and peer collaboration across the Alera Group networkQualificationsWhat You BringRequired3–5 years of experience in loss control, occupational safety, risk management, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of OSHA standards applicable to commercial operationsExperience conducting site visits, safety assessments, or training facilitationStrong written communication skills with the ability to produce client‑ready materialsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TeamsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlinesPreferredExperience in commercial lines insurance, particularly Workers' Compensation, General Liability, or Commercial AutoProfessional designation in progress or obtained (OHST, ASP, ARM, or similar)Experience supporting manufacturing, transportation, or other moderate‑to‑high‑hazard industriesCore CompetenciesSystems thinking and process executionClient‑first mindsetAnalytical and problem‑solving skillsClear communication and documentationCollaboration and teamworkAccountability and follow‑throughAdditional InformationBenefitsAlera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.Work ModelThis role is Hybrid.Professional Development – Alera Group AcademyAt Alera Group, growth isn't left to chance.
