They supply cutting-edge technology and services to thousands of clients in the healthcare, municipal, commercial, institutional, and private sectors.Job Summary Precise ParkLink is seeking Patrol Officers to ensure that all dashboard tickets, reservations and parking permits are valid at contracted private properties throughout the City of Hamilton and Niagara and St. Catharines. This position will be overseen by the Area Manager.Location & Employment Location: Hamilton/Niagara/St. CatharinesEmployment: Full Time (Mon to Fri 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) / Special Events – As NeededCompensation Compensation: $19.00 per hourQualifications General knowledge of computers/cellular devicesValid G license with clean drivers abstract, and ability to provide abstract at time of hirePrevious experience in parking enforcement or security background would be considered a strong assetCriminal check required prior to hire (backcheck completed by Precise Parklink)Attributes Must be punctual and self disciplined; considered a self-starterAbility to work and complete tasks with minimal supervision as this is an independent, on the road job; must also strive to work in team settings towards a common purposeAbility to de-escalate situations should they arise; must be well-mannered & level headedCapable of learning & absorbing training in a quick & efficient mannerMust be polite with professional attitudePositive, friendly, enthusiastic and personableMust be punctual and self disciplinedBilingualism is a strong assetMechanically inclined able to change a tire and basic automotive skillsJob Responsibilities / Duties Review and understand daily scheduled routes prior to dispatching for shiftReview dispatch email for any client requests/ check calendar for any eventsRespond directly to client requests for enforcement in a swift and timely manner, communicate with client to confirm receipt and debrief once call has been attended toInspect vehicle & required devices prior to departing for shift; report any issues to manager immediatelyFollow procedures regarding log sheets/ recording site visitsCarefully check expiration date/ time of parking receipts displayed on dashboards, as well as approved hangtags where applicableRun plates through enforcement software at applicable sites to confirm registrationEnsure accuracy in issuing infractions (correct information on ticket)Ensure devices are returned as they were taken, and placed back on charging units for next shiftsArranging towing of vehicles where applicable, under By-Law regulationsAbility to work outdoors, within a sheltered garage environmentMandatory health & safety training required to be completed upon hireLitter pick up and general maintenance of parking equipmentEqual Opportunity: Precise ParkLink is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection processes and work environments.
