Sigmatech is seeking a Space Subject Matter Expert to serve on the SPACECENT staff at US Central Command (USCENTCOM) Headquarters MacDill AFB, FL. This position will provide Advisory and Assistance Services in direct support to the Commander of Space forces (COMSPACEFOR) and their staff in planning, coordinating, and executing assigned actions as the US Space Force Service Component to USCENTCOM.ResponsibilitiesConduct research, analysis, and assessment on Space capabilities and emerging Space technologies; brief/submit assessments to Senior USSF leadership as required.Support crisis action planning/continuity of operations; build and display data sets, perform data mining, and assist with the operation of a Space Common Operating Picture platform.Provide expertise to the USSF/COO to support integration of space capabilities and develop architectures supporting national strategy, policy, and guidance.Provide operational‑level expertise in Space Force operations including orbital warfare, cybersecurity, readiness, strategic planning, and Space Command & Control; assess all USSF elements and submit comprehensive assessment reports.Interface and perform technical and programmatic liaison support with Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), SAF/SP, SF/IA, and USSF field commands; support global defense posture planning.Coordinate action within applicable divisions, HQ Space Staff, and relevant stakeholders.Build products for senior leaders: detailed mission analysis, personnel and facilities planning, contingency planning, guidance updates, security cooperation and partner engagement planning, program and budget preparation.Support deliberate planning process, develop operational strategy and doctrine; assist in developing policy, guidance and orders to USSF Field Commands; identify and analyze concepts and technologies for investment.Provide support to space functions for CCDR and components; track/enabling space support to AOR operations; assess new architectures, capabilities and shortfalls.Advise and brief senior leadership on space programs, current issues and shortfalls; provide space integration expertise in support of CONOPS or plan development.Produce and process Space Support Request to integrate space forces/capabilities for CCMDs.Attend and produce products in support of the weekly Combined Forces Space Component Command Operations and Intelligence Brief.Process and produce SATRAN and GPS support products; incorporate space effects into theater exercises and war‑games; support prioritized national, JFC, theater component and NATO exercise events; provide comprehensive support to exercise development and planning.Work closely with higher HQ to ensure required reports are upward‑channeled and consistent with the CDR battle rhythm; work closely with command administrative staffs and C2 elements to define reporting requirements.Review and evaluate multi‑source, complex technical intelligence that varies in clarity and validity.Present theater threats (orders of battle, threat country tactics, etc.) to enhance exercise realism.Manage component administrative responsibilities: continuity and process management; track TMT and action item flow; calendar management.Required Experience and SkillsTS Clearance with SCI eligibility.Familiarity with DoD, civil, commercial, and international space capabilities and architectures.Experience in Space Analysis, Policy, Planning or equivalent.Experience supporting Service HQ, DoD Agency or IC staffs.Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, oral presentation, and executive writing skills.Excellent writing skills.Preferred SkillsWIC Graduate.Familiarity with Defense Space and National Security Space strategy, requirements, capabilities, architectures, programs, acquisition, and operations.Experience supporting CCMDs, OSD, Service HQ or DoD Agency or IC staffs.Experience with DoD, USSF, USAF, NRO, USDI.Required EducationMaster's Degree plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Scientific, Data Science, Software Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Analysis, Policy or Planning fields, or equivalent.Preferred Education/ExperienceMaster's degree in Space Systems Engineering or related field.20+ years of experience in operations, engineering, scientific, analysis, policy or planning related to Defense Space.USSF staff or USCENTCOM experience within the past 3 years.Joint knowledge and understanding of CCMD organizations.Program/project management experience.KeywordCombatant Command#J-18808-Ljbffr
