Transit Security Officer (TWIC Card Required)

Candidate must obtain a TWIC card in order to be considered for this position. Full Time: AM/Swing Shifts Weekends.Friday 0445-1245, Saturday 0800-1500, Sunday 1230-1930, Monday & Tuesday 1245-2145Basic Requirements: 21+, WA Driver's License, 2 years of physical security experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit
• Engage in high volume face-to-face public interactions
• Write detailed and accurate incident report
• Maintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activity
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors
• Provide empathetic approach to managing escalated situations
• Contribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer care

Requirements:

• Are at least 21 years of age
• Have a minimum of 2 years Security or Military experience
• Have a valid WA STATE driver's license with a clean driving record
• Are able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education
• Possess a valid Washington State Security License

Skill set:

• Have effective verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoy working with the public and providing excellent customer service

*Please note, successful candidates must complete a mandatory 5-day paid training course in Renton.
