Review, evaluate, and verify financial documents and scholarship/assistantship offer letters to determine students' eligibility for F‑1 immigration status. Utilize the immigration case management system, FSU student and admissions application databases, and SEVIS to issue Certificates of Eligibility (I‑20) required for F‑1 student visas. Register students in SEVIS after processing Arrival Confirmation forms. Work closely with academic departments, the Office of Admissions and Records, and other university offices. Monitor and respond to emails and hold Zoom office hours for newly admitted students.Provide support for the ISSS unit by reviewing the CGE department email inbox and assigning inquiries to the appropriate advisor or answering general questions. Process submitted e‑forms during advisor vacation periods, review and submit batch SEVIS updates, and resolve extract discrepancies. Help students identify resources both on and off campus and create a supportive environment for international students.Work with the program manager to review, update, and develop content for newly admitted students, including website, webinars, and video content. Assist with preparation, provide logistical support, and participate in orientations, Q&A sessions, webinars, and other plans that facilitate new student integration into campus and community life.Participate in workshops and training for FSU department representatives. Provide feedback on existing efforts to communicate with and instruct new students, and make recommendations for the use of new technologies and services that best serve international students.Attend major CGE and SA functions as required. Serve on CGE, DSA, and university committees as needed.
