In this role, you will become a member of a support staff team, with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes, including cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.ResponsibilitiesUtilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fieldingDevelop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement ListsInterpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integrationPrepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partnersDevelop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadershipSupport and interact on a daily basis with high-level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office, and have the ability to deliver products successfully in a fast‑paced environment (on demand)Travel as requiredRequired Skills/ExperienceUS CitizenshipActive DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher)Master's degree and 12+ years' relevant experience OR: Bachelor's degree and 20+ years relevant experience with the Department of Defense (DoD).Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselinesExperience translating technical requirements into contract requirementsCapable of working independently or leading cross‑functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the Performance Work Statement (PWS)Experience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space‑based program and/or a DoD programExpertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and executionDesired Skills/ExperiencePrior MDA experienceAPPLY TODAY!!Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small BusinessEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) employerReasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
