Service Contract Act (SCA) Position
Schedule: 3:00pm - 12:00am
Hourly Rate: $18.00 to $19.00
Duties and Responsibilities
- Guard I is responsible for enforcing all laws, rules and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department.
- Enforces all authorized laws, rules, and regulations.
- Guard I performs alarm and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, vandalism, fire, flood, or similar disaster, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions.
- Provide vehicle transportation support function under direction of supervisor in compliance with government, corporate and management directives.
- Aids and assists visitors, students, and staff.
- Performs building security and safety checks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Graduate or Equivalent Required.
- Prefer 1 Year of Experience in a Security Department, Law Enforcement Agency, or Experience with Security Duties.
- Valid Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record Preferred.
- Prefer Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Required to Pass a Drug Screen in Compliance with Our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
- Employment is Contingent Upon Successful Completion of a Nationwide Criminal Background Check.

Job Corps is the Largest Nationwide Residential Career Training Program in the Country and Has Been Operating for More Than 60 Years. The Program Helps Eligible Young People Ages 16 Through 24 Complete Their High School Education, Trains Them for Meaningful Careers, and Assists Them with Obtaining Employment.
