This is not a civilian or student internship.Junior EstimatorThe Junior Estimator supports the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for construction projects. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, analyzing subcontractor bids, assisting with scope comparisons, and supporting bid submissions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.Demonstrate interest in construction management or the construction industryHave served at least 180 days on active dutyBe eligible to participate during the final six months of military service prior to separation or retirementBe expected to receive an honorable dischargeHave completed the Transition Assistance Program (TAP/TGPS)Have attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 monthsReceived Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of the internshipComputer SystemsMicrosoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Project and Procore (preferred but not required)This is an unpaid internship through the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program.
