ResponsibilitiesImplements, monitors and evaluates policies and procedures.Makes assignments and conducts inspections to ensure proper performance of employees and adheres to safety and sanitation standards of the institution.Orients, trains, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines inmates assigned to the institution.Assists in instructing and directing officers in a program of discipline, safety, security, and rehabilitation of inmates in a medium security correctional facility.Investigates and documents incidents as provided in policy.Must successfully complete eight (8) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.Minimum RequirementsState of South Carolina Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant experience.
