Job OverviewJob Type: Part‑timePrimary Location: Camp Lejeune, NCMust be a U.S. CitizenSecurity Clearance: Top SecretJob SummaryJoin Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) to support the United States Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and other DoD commands in training and exercises that prepare forces for worldwide deployment in Joint Multi‑Domain Operating Environments. You will collaborate with active‑duty Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Space Force and other agency members, both internal and external.Specific ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the JNAT‑PL, unit Operations and Training Chiefs, course managers, and internal analysts to build and improve the unit training management program and curricular activities from the team to component level.Supports the planning and design of emerging exercises, education and training events, coordination of instructor and student materials, evaluations, and alternate learning methods.Support, coordinate, help execute, and assess individual student, staff and collective unit training across the JNAT program as a SOF‑SME, training and Exercise Design SME and JNAT Instructor.Works with students, staff and subject matter experts to identify target audience and specific training needs by MOS and pre‑deployment requirements.Executes operational and exercise design development in office, classroom in garrison and exercise control in field environments.Train as a JNAT and Joint Network Development Instructor (JNAT‑I & JND‑I) and support JNAT and JND courses after completion of training.Coordinate instructional research and analysis on learners and facilitators.Attend meetings and participate in customer briefs aboard Camp Lejeune and Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.RequirementsKnowledge and skills in instructional design theories.Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to conduct studies and analyze findings.Familiarity with Operational Exploitation of Publicly Available Information (OE‑PAI) processes.Past performance directly supporting SOF operational units and formal schools.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Self‑motivation and a high level of discretion to work effectively with others.Ability to multi‑task efficiently, work in a fast‑paced environment on multiple projects and have strong attention to detail.Past performance as a SOF Operations and Training Chief, instructor, teaching, or related field and 5 years of related work experience (MARSOC CSO preferred).Past performance conducting assessment and performance evaluations.Strategic SOF planning, organizing, and analyzing instructional development activities desired.Experience supporting multinational and joint operations required; joint special operations desired.Physical Requirements and Work EnvironmentGarrison work environment including, but not limited to, routine field/tactical environments and occasional extended working hours. Schedule: Monday–Friday 0700 to 1700 (normal; some reverse operations may occur).TravelDomestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.
