Inter-Con is Everywhere Security Matters.Job Summary The Regional Trainer is responsible for leading the development, coordination, delivery, and compliance tracking of training programs across Inter-Con's contracts. This role balances strategic execution with operational excellence, ensuring that training meets both regulatory obligations and internal performance standards. The Regional Training Manager works cross-functionally with compliance, legal, HR, field operations, and account management teams.Responsibilities Training Development & Execution: Design and deliver training programs including classroom instruction, practical exercises, and online learning modules.Build and maintain curriculum, syllabi, presentations (PPT), and testing materials for all officer tiers and specializations.Develop New Hire Training (NHT) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) checklists and ensure deployment across contracts.Organize and facilitate training in OC spray, CPR/First Aid, Handcuffing, Range/Firearms qualifications, and other topics as needed based on contract requirements.Align training hours and content with contractual requirements; proactively adjust curriculum as needed.Ensure availability of all training materials, uniforms, and supplies ahead of training cycles.Compliance, Auditing & Quality Assurance Audit training records, materials, and delivery for contractual and licensing compliance.Conduct regular inspections and initiate targeted retraining for officers based on performance evaluations.Track certification and licensing expiration dates and proactively prevent compliance gaps.Monitor success rates of proficiency testing and training audits using performance dashboards.Recommend and oversee implementation of corrective actions in response to audit findings.Cross-Departmental Collaboration Serve as liaison between Training, Compliance, HR, Legal, and Contracts teams.Support account managers by interpreting state and contract-specific training requirements.Assist in responding to training-related inquiries in contract bids and during officer infractions or investigations.Platform & Data Management Oversee training platforms (e.g., Axis, KPA, Mineral).Create user profiles, upload content, issue assignments, and generate reports.Track OSHA, internal, and contractual training requirements.Manage dashboards reflecting training status, audit scores, and corrective actions.Brief portfolio leadership on performance metrics, trends, and risks.Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in training, instruction, compliance, or security operations.Demonstrated experience with adult learning principles, curriculum development, and training evaluation.Strong working knowledge of auditing and compliance within a government contracting or regulated security environment.Certified Instructor in CPR, AED, Adult First Aid (Red Cross, ASHA, etc.).Excellent public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to communicate to diverse audiences.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and training/audit tools.Physically fit; capable of lifting 35 lbs and conducting defensive tactics and firearms instruction.High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Instructional Design, or related field preferred.Preferred Skills Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO, SOC, or similar.Experience with Gantt charts, dashboard reporting, and performance management tools.Certifications in compliance, auditing, or training (e.g., CCEP, CQA, Learning & Development).Familiarity with government, law enforcement, or military training environments.Veterans Inter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
