The Traffic Control Tech I or II is responsible for setting up and managing traffic control measures like signs and cones, directing vehicle and pedestrian flow, and ensuring safety in roadwork zones, construction sites, or during incidents

The Traffic Control Tech I or II is responsible for setting up and managing traffic control measures like signs and cones, directing vehicle and pedestrian flow, and ensuring safety in roadwork zones, construction sites, or during incidents
Performance, Procedures and Efficiencies
- Load & unload work vehicle/trailer
- Drive company vehicles once certified
- Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations
- Aid in the set-up and removal of traffic diversion devices, including barrels, cones, signs, barricades, rumble strips and other related equipment with direction
- Directs movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand, and flag signals
- Meet Physical Requirements
- Able to follow direction
- Dependable & punctual
- Safety minded
- Use of small power tools
- Use of Hand tools
- Less than one (1) year in construction
- Must have a valid driver's license
