Supervisory Weapons Control Specialist

You will serve as a Supervisory Weapons Control Specialist, a recognized functional and technical expert within the organization.

You will provide direct operational support, technical and administrative expertise to the Deputy Weapons Officer, Weapons Officer and Commanding Officer.

You will manage planning and coordination of all nuclear and non-nuclear weapon movements, ensuring de-confliction and synchronization among Marine Corps Security Force, contractors, civilian, and military personnel.

You will monitor and direct movements, maintaining continuous contact with convoy personnel, plotting locations, anticipating issues, and directing starts, stops, and interim changes to ensure safe, secure transport.

You will prepare and improve documentation and records to demonstrate compliance with nuclear weapons accountability and control regulations during movements.

You will serve as Nuclear Emergency Team Commander and supports the Weapons Officer to maintain immediate response capability for nuclear weapons accidents and incidents until formally relieved.

You will lead emergency actions for weapons accidents, environmental and building emergencies, intrusions, explosive mishaps, crane mishaps, and personnel casualties, including command notifications and control of casualties until relieved.

You will supervise Weapons Control Specialists, providing guidance, training, mentorship, and managing rotating tours of duty to maintain operational readiness.

You will monitor electronic security and environmental systems, identifies intrusions, faults, and excursions, directs corrective actions, and issues notifications through the command structure.
