Security Guard

Security Guards ensure that our staff, guests, and animal collection enjoy a safe experience at Wildlife Conservation Society parks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Presenting professionalism in uniform while assisting guests that are seeking information, medical assistance or other aid and in a courteous manner.
  • Communicating clearly using a portable radio.
  • Following instructions and orders from Security Management and other competent authority.
  • Completing the Security Officer's Daily Activity Report.
  • Will be required to remain at fixed post, a roving post covering a designated area and entrance/exit gates, as needed.
  • Monitoring building conditions for overcrowding, disorderly persons and prohibited items inside exhibits.
  • Completing other assignments as required and helping others on the team
