Supervisory Analyst, Inspection Quality Assessment
WSP Field Services has an immediate need for an experienced and dedicated Supervisory Analyst, Inspection Quality Assessment professional to step into a supervisory role on our Assessment Quality Review Team, supporting our contract withthe Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This position will work out of our Winchester, Virginia office.

The quality assessment process is designed to achieve the WSP goal of timely and quality Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster housing inspections. This position serves as a vital communication link between WSP's Project Management team, Field Managers, Production, Equipment Logistics personnel, No Contact and Customer Service personnel, as well as the On-Line Services and Accounting departments.
The role involves a hybrid work model, which currently includes both in-office days in Winchester, VA and remote work. The workload varies with the occurrence of Presidential declared disasters. Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, including night shift, early morning hours, and weekends to accommodate constraints from varying disaster activity and time zones.
Your Impact
- Overseeing the quality assessment process for FEMA disaster housing assessments
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence
- Providing mentorship and support to team members
- Adapting to changing workloads and organizational needs
Readiness
- Maintain familiarity with the FEMA IHP Inspection Guidelines, FEMA ACE5 software, WSP Quality Control processes, implement new program updates and advise appropriate staff of any program changes.
- Disseminate information to the temporary staff on Inspection instruction review process and procedures.
- Assist in maintenance and improvement of a QMS (ISO 9001:2008) under the direction of Management.
- Compile data for quality issues from completed inspections.
- Process and research inspections through WSP and FEMA databases.
Deployment:
- Participate in the contractor's briefing via Microsoft Teams.
- Analyze assessment quality and quality control results.
- Return assessments to the field for correction and maintain the FEMA Correction database.
- Review corrected and returned assessments for quality compliance
- Communicate quality risks with various levels of internal program management.
- Provide system-generated feedback to internal department heads regarding inspector and task order quality performance.
- As assigned, address assessment issues directly with the FEMA Task Monitors
- Compile and distribute new guidance to appropriate stakeholders, including surge review staff.
- Support analysis of customer service issues.
- Assist the Quality Review Manager in obtaining payroll information from subcontracted surge staff.
- Provide analysis to support the identification and release of inspectors and staff in coordination with the Quality Review Manager, Production Manager, and Task Order Management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma; Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years demonstrated comparable work experience is required.
- Prior experience with FEMA is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel and database software systems is required.
- Strong analytical and demonstrated client problem solving abilities are necessary.
- A background and familiarity with residential and/or commercial inspection methodologies and techniques is highly desirable.
- Candidate must have excellent customer service skills due to the range of exterior clients and employees.
- As per client requirements, U.S. Citizenship required for all project positions. As a drug-free workplace, employees may be subject to drug screening.
