This role ensures adherence to codes and standards while supporting facility and project teams.Key Responsibilities Design and evaluate fire protection systems (alarm, detection, sprinkler, suppression, fire pumps)Perform hydraulic calculations, system layouts, and equipment selectionReview A/E and contractor drawings for compliance with codes and NFPA standardsConduct inspections, testing, fire hazard analyses, and field surveysDevelop life safety plans and fire safety programsPrepare technical reports and recommend corrective actionsProvide guidance to project teams, contractors, and regulatory authoritiesSupport performance-based design using fire modeling and egress analysisDeliver training and support system installation, maintenance, and upgradesMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or related discipline).Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Fire Protection Engineering.Minimum five (5) years of relevant engineering experience.Minimum three (3) years of fire alarm and fire suppression system experience.Travel RequiredMust be a U.S. citizenPreferred Qualifications Hospital or healthcare life safety code experience.Experience with AutoCAD.Why Choose MIRACORP?
