The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching Service Technicians to customer locations, managing service calls, and ensuring efficient and effective delivery of automation services. - Coordinate and Dispatch Technicians: Schedule and dispatch Service Technicians to customer locations based on service requests and urgency.
- Customer Interaction: Take customer calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about services, pricing, and scheduling.
- Communication: Ensure technicians have the necessary information and resources to complete their tasks.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of service calls, appointments, and customer information.
- Routing: Optimize routes for technicians to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing reports related to job status, daily activities, and dispatched calls.
- Collaboration: Work with the management team to forecast scheduling needs based on seasonal changes or customer demands.
- Experience: 1-2 years of prior experience in dispatching or customer service roles, preferably in the HVAC/building automation or construction industries.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with building automation controls systems and terminology is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations.
- Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
