Safety Worxs is seeking an experienced local Project Safety Coordinator to support a 3 month project in Port Arthur, TX.This is a project-level role with no direct reports, requiring a strong field presence and the ability to independently drive safety performance across a large-scale project.ResponsibilitiesImplement and enforce site-specific safety programs aligned with OSHA standardsConduct daily field inspections, audits, and hazard assessmentsIdentify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions in real timeLead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and workforce engagement initiativesOversee high-risk activities including excavation, heavy equipment, and traffic controlSupport incident investigations and perform root cause analysisMaintain accurate safety documentation and compliance reportingPartner with project leadership and subcontractors to reinforce safety accountabilityQualifications5+ years of construction safety experienceEM 385 CertificateCHST CertificateStrong knowledge of OSHA construction standardProven ability to operate independently as the lead safety professional on-siteStrong field leadership and communication skillsLocal candidate preferred50 Hours per week, May include nights and weekends based on project needs~3 months$45 – $55 per hour (DOE)#J-18808-Ljbffr
