Job Summary: The Brown & Crouppen Complex Personal Injury Litigation Department is seeking an experienced trial lawyer to join its expanding litigation team. Interested candidates should send a resume with a list of the cases (styles and cause numbers) that she/he has tried in a first or second chair capacity within the last five years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft discoveries, pleadings, and motions
- Monitor case progress
- Prepare and participate in jury trials
- Continuously communicate with clients, insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
- Court appearances as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience handling personal injury claims preferred
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Courtroom motion practice experience preferred
