- Serve as a senior academic administrator and subject-matter expert practitioner leader of the University. This position is for a DSCA Division Chief of the Foreign Military Sales-Center of Excellence and Professor of Practice reporting to the Dean, Workforce Education and Development, DSCU.
- Provides strategic leadership and management for the FMS-Center of Excellence Division, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment that excellence in teaching, research, services, and engagement.
- Responsible for the overall management of assigned resources, programs, and performance of faculty and staff assigned to and executing programs, ensuring alignment with the University's mission and strategic plan.
- Develops, leads, and implements strategic planning for assigned programs and responsibilities, aligned with the University's mission, vision, and strategic priorities.
- Oversees the recruitment, hiring, retention, and development of outstanding faculty and staff. Evaluates personnel performance and provides constructive feedback to support professional growth.
- Manages the preparation and delivery of competency-based curriculum that synthesizes multiple security cooperation disciplines; curriculum refers to prepared lectures, seminars, problem-based learning, case studies, instruction, or advisory services through in-person and virtual (synchronous and asynchronous) delivery.
- Maintains an active profile as a scholar-practitioner; continues to engage in intellectual pursuits relevant to Foreign Military Sales and the Security Cooperation enterprise, demonstrating ongoing commitment to scholarship, critical inquiry, and professional practice.
