The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the AFSC Software Directorate Intelligence Section Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst & Subject Matter Expert for the Security & Intelligence Operations Branch, providing specialized cyber threat intelligence & Software Directorate intelligence support to facilitate the effective research, development, & sustainment of Air Force capabilities. Responsibilities - Serve as a senior intelligence analyst and the command's senior technical authority and subject matter expert (SME) on multi-source cyber intelligence, providing advanced technical support to the Software Directorate's acquisition and development programs. - Provide advanced cyber intelligence analytic/technical support to Software Directorate acquisition and development programs. - Serve as the subject matter expert on Software and Cyber Acquisition Intelligence, ISR, and intelligence support to the Software Directorate and represent AFSC/SW at a variety of installation and functional area organizations. - Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Expert knowledge of the principles, practices, and methodologies of cyber threat intelligence analysis as well as the intelligence cycle, intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and interrelationships of the national IC, DoD, and USAF. 2. Expert knowledge of cyber and software development and acquisition processes, policy, and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout the software development and sustainment process; cyber and software acquisition intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USAF research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises. 3. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements. 4. Skill in planning, organizing, and conducting unbiased complex intelligence analysis activities on tight deadlines, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, collaborating with other intelligence elements, and producing intelligence requirement-based assessments that answer specific tasks in support of multiple stakeholders. 5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to present complex technical and analytical information as well as work in a professional manner with peers, management, subordinates, contractors, academia, and other agencies to work out solutions to problems, prepare and present complex technical and analytical assessments and briefings to a variety of audiences, including those at the SES/General Officer level. 6. Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices sufficient to provide limited oversight, guidance, performance feedback, and developmental support to a small team or assigned personnel. Ideal Candidate: 4 or more years of cyber threat intelligence analysis experience and supervisory experience. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
