ResponsibilitiesConduct roll call; monitor officers on duty; instruct and explain rules, regulations, and procedures.Assist in non‑routine problems.Perform sanitation, safety, and security inspections of all buildings, contents, grounds, and vehicles; correct or report shortcomings or deficiencies.Assign specific duties to subordinate officers to ensure cleaning of buildings, grounds, etc.Supervise and control inmates in wards, recreation areas, and during special investigations; make recommendations to supervisor.Evaluate officers' duty performance; instruct and counsel officers on required performance.Minimum and Additional RequirementsState of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:A high school diploma and relevant experience.
