Our client is seeking a Cost Analyst to perform a wide variety of cost analysis assignments in support of the program life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) and program office estimates (POE). Develop or evaluate cost assessments, cost positions relating to the systems development, demonstration and production approaches. Location: APG, Maryland Rate: $60-70/hr. W2 This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Assess impact on systems and program costs, including analyses of prototype systems.
Work with SMEs to develop independent Government cost estimates (IGCEs) that will stand up to DoD level review.
Serves as Working Leader to lower-grade personnel and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements.
Review, assist and mentor lower-grade employee's work for quality, accuracy of work.
Coordinate work efforts with Contract Officer Representative.
Serves as an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Experience Requirements:
A minimum of eight (8) years preparing and updating cost estimates using ACEIT.
Strong analytical abilities required. MS proficiency with Excel required. This minimum experience must be with DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Manager (O6 PM) or Product Manager (O5 PdM) to be considered applicable to this requirement
Experience with DoD 5000.02 Education Requirements:
BA or BS degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
Active Secret clearance required
