DescriptionXMSTART is looking to add an experienced and strategic full-time SIGINT Flight Engineer to our team, in Aurora, CO. This position is 100% onsite. RequirementsResponsibilities: Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services focused on SIGINT collection systems and systems engineeringRepresent the government in executing spacecraft integration, test, launch, and on-orbit operationsConduct anomaly support, launch and mission readiness, and end-to-end space systems architecture analysisMaintain close communications with the program acquisition office and customer engineering organizations providing recommendations on risk level of spacecraft activitiesOversee day-to-day execution of mission operations and processes to ensure proper attention to health, safety, and effective use of national resourcesProvide launch and mission readiness subject matter expertise to operations and engineering including readiness for launch, spacecraft initialization, and transition to missionQualifications: Experience in spacecraft, payload, and launch vehicle engineering as well as mission readinessprocess, control gates, and associated entry/exit criteriaSIGINT systems engineering expertise, and significant space and ground systems domain knowledgeTechnical familiarity with SIGINT system's payloads, subsystems, and technical capabilitiesSelf-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; readily definessolutions for broad, abstract topicsPolished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgmentPreferred Qualifications: 4-years' experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and/or closing DoD or Intelligence Community projects or ProgramsReal-time operations experience as a spacecraft operator or spacecraft engineer, familiar with space operations/policiesFamiliar with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools, Agile development, cloud technologiesContract management/COTR support experienceExperience with Jira, ConfluenceEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) orRelevant field and nine (9) years orMore experience; Master's Degree in STEM or relevant field and seven (7) years or more experienceCertification: COTR certification (preferred)Security Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen with with an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
