Unarmed Security Officer The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, employees, and visitors at the assigned shopping center in Pheonix, AZ. This position plays a critical role in deterring theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding Prosegur and client standards.Duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate actions while ensuring the safety and security of property and personnel.Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor activity, identify safety hazards, and prevent incidents.Observe, report, and document any suspicious behavior, incidents, or safety concerns in accordance with company procedures.Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and calls for assistance.Enforce company and client policies, including access control, visitor management, and parking regulations.Provide courteous assistance and directions to tenants, guests, and visitors as needed.Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times in compliance with company uniform and grooming standards.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure a coordinated response to site activity.Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Account Manager.Qualifications and requirements:Must possess a current State of Arizona security guard license.High School Diploma or GED required.Prior security or customer service experience preferred.Strong interpersonal, observation, and communication skills.Ability to write clear and accurate reports.Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle records check.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.Ability to remain professional and calm in routine and emergency situations.Core competencies:Customer service and professionalismObservation and attention to detailCommunication and teamworkDependability and accountabilitySafety awareness and integrityCertification requirements:Unarmed Security LicenseEducation requirements:High School DiplomaAdditional information/benefits:Paid holidays401K/403b planShort term disabilityDental insurancePaid vacationLong term disabilityPaid sick daysVision insuranceMedical insuranceLife insuranceRelocation assistanceThis position reports to Logan Calahan.Travel is required.The following screenings are required:Employment verificationCriminal background checkDrug screen
