Space Systems Test & Integration – MDSEA SupportPosition OverviewJoin the Space Systems Test & Integration team supporting the Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA). This role provides technical leadership for verification, validation, integration, and mission readiness activities across complex satellite ground system environments.The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with space-ground enterprise systems, mission system integration, IT infrastructure, automated testing, and DevSecOps-aligned development pipelines. This position will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, government stakeholders, and multiple vendors to support Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) activities while ensuring mission-critical systems meet operational and cybersecurity requirements.________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Test & Integration• Develop and execute system-level test strategies, test plans, procedures, and verification artifacts.• Lead verification, validation, integration, and mission readiness activities across enterprise satellite ground systems.• Conduct:o Functional testingo Integration testingo Regression testingo Performance testingo Cybersecurity testingo End-to-end mission system testing• Validate software builds, configuration changes, and modifications to enterprise ground system components.• Support operational demonstrations, certification milestones, and readiness reviews.________________________________________Technical Leadership• Provide technical guidance to MDSEA System Engineers to ensure:o Test standardizationo Performance target complianceo Mission readiness objectives• Lead defect triage efforts and root cause analysis for complex system issues.• Coordinate issue resolution across multidisciplinary engineering teams.• Provide senior-level technical leadership during integration events and operational milestones.________________________________________Program & Stakeholder Coordination• Coordinate test activities across:o Multiple vendorso Engineering teamso Agile development groupso Government stakeholders• Manage and maintain the Integrated Master Test Schedule (IMTS) for:o DT/OT eventso Integration milestoneso Readiness reviews• Prepare and deliver:o Test reportso Readiness assessmentso Risk summarieso Technical briefings for leadership and government customers________________________________________Infrastructure & DevSecOps Support• Test and validate enterprise IT infrastructure, including:o Serverso Networkso Storage systemso Virtualized environmentso Mission-critical enterprise services• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.• Integrate automated testing into modern DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows through automated:o Buildso Deploymentso Integration processes• Ensure compliance with:o Configuration management standardso Cybersecurity requirementso Test documentation quality standards________________________________________Required Qualifications• Extensive experience supporting satellite ground systems and enterprise mission environments.• Strong background in system-level testing and integration activities.Experience with:o Verification & Validation (V&V)o DT/OT test eventso Enterprise infrastructure testingo Automated testing frameworks• Knowledge of DevSecOps/DevOps CI/CD environments and Infrastructure as Code concepts.• Experience coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and government stakeholders.• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and lead root cause analysis efforts.• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Experience working in secure DoD or classified environments.Preferred Qualifications• Experience supporting Missile Defense, Space Systems, or National Security Space programs.• Familiarity with Agile development environments.• Experience supporting operational readiness reviews and certification events.• Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization, networking, and storage platforms.• Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance requirements within DoD environments.
