Torch Technologies is hiring an Acquisition Security Support Specialist to support the Technical and Management Advisory Services (TMAS2) contract at Eglin AFB, FL.Responsibilities Provide advice and assistance in manning the entry control desk, monitoring the facility entrance, implementing force protection notices, and responding to fire alarm status.Answer telephone calls to provide security and personnel updates.Support the execution of all aspects of acquisition program security and physical security requirements in accordance with applicable government directives related to SAPs, SCI, and collateral security.Assist SAP Security Managers, division leadership, and facility personnel to integrate core physical security disciplines from a policy and programmatic viewpoint.Identify areas for process improvement and automation, leveraging technical expertise to implement innovative solutions and enhance overall efficiency of security operations.Required Qualifications US citizenship.Associate's degree with 4 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience (or equivalent).Verifiable relevant experience with entry control desk duties, including maintaining visitor logs, badge control, monitoring video security systems, coordinating delivery receipt, and paging personnel.Experience working with Government and contractor personnel to create secure environments through development of sound security practices and policies.Experience conducting documented security entry & exit programs and end‑of‑day activities, applying advanced security principles to safeguard classified resources.Experience in program protection planning supporting security inspections, identifying deficiencies in controlled areas, and implementing coordinated solutions with the security manager and infrastructure team for SAPs.Active Top Secret clearance at hire with a CV date within 5 years and SAP clearable.Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and reviewing Security Management Plans, Transportation Requests, and SAP Security Personnel Official duties.Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification.Schedule: 40 hrs/week. Location: Eglin AFB, FL. Travel: 5‑10%. Relocation assistance: none.
