Positions are responsible for ensuring the security and safety of patients, staff, and visitors on the grounds of the Evansville State Hospital and Evansville Psychiatric Childrens Center, and when escorting patients and/or staff off grounds. Salary Statement: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $34,216.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows:Develop and implement procedures for the security of buildings and grounds to meet the needs of the State Operated Facility. Give advice on the implementation of rules and regulations pertaining to parking and traffic, including markings and signage. Develop short and long-range training programs for security staff. Report status of security and safety to facility management. Develop and continually reviews the standard operation of the security and safety program.
