About the Role
Resort at Hansen Park is seeking a professional, observant, and dependable Security Patrol Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming community for our residents, guests, team members, and vendors. The Security Patrol Officer will conduct routine patrols throughout the community, monitor amenities, parking areas, buildings, access points, and construction areas, respond to incidents, document concerns, and work closely with property management and local emergency services when needed.

The Security Patrol Officer will conduct routine patrols throughout the community, monitor amenities, parking areas, buildings, access points, and construction areas, respond to incidents, document concerns, and work closely with property management and local emergency services when needed.

What You'll Do
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the property to deter suspicious activity and support resident comfort.
- Conduct scheduled and random foot and vehicle patrols of the clubhouse, amenities, fitness center, pool areas, parking lots, garages, residential buildings, trails, courtyards, common areas, and construction zones.
- Monitor for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, vandalism, unsecured access points, lighting issues, leaks, spills, or other safety concerns.
- Patrol the full community regularly, including construction areas, and report anything unusual or out of place.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, door-ajar systems, gates, barriers, keypads, and access control systems.
- Verify identification or credentials for workers, contractors, vendors, residents, and guests when appropriate.
- Patrol parking areas for unauthorized vehicles, loitering, vandalism, damage, or safety concerns.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical events, property issues, and security concerns in a calm and professional manner.
- Complete accurate, detailed, and timely activity logs, patrol reports, incident reports, and photo documentation when appropriate.
- Prior security, patrol, military, police, or similar experience preferred.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm, respectful, and professional in tense or unexpected situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment and the ability to respond appropriately to issues as they arise.
- A service-focused approach when interacting with residents, guests, vendors, and team members.
- Dependability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass a background screening and drug test.
