Job Description Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Military Controls Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to drive the development of innovative control systems for advanced military programs. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong technical background and proven ability to manage complex projects. The successful candidate will lead a cross‑functional team through the design, verification, and qualification phases, ensuring delivery of high‑quality hardware and software solutions that meet program requirements.Responsibilities Lead the development of cutting‑edge control system designs for military applications.Drive the team through all phases of the product lifecycle, including design, verification, and qualification.Ensure alignment with program objectives, technical requirements, and customer expectations.Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary controls team, including hardware component designers and software developers.Foster collaboration and communication across teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software development efforts.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, leveraging a strong background in control systems and project management.Oversee the development and implementation of innovative solutions to meet program challenges.Shape technical and program strategies to ensure successful execution and delivery of program milestones.Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with broader program goals and customer needs.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to address technical or schedule challenges.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.Minimum of 5 years' experience in controls engineering.Must obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship.Access to U.S. export‑controlled information required; applicant must demonstrate status of a U.S. Person (e.g., U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, or granted asylum/refugee status).Desired Qualifications Familiarity with military programs and requirements.Experience with verification and qualification processes for hardware and software systems.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace and defense.Strong background in control systems design, development, and integration.Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams through hardware and/or software development processes.Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.EEO & Eligibility GE Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
