Job Description: James Scott, LLC IS seeking a Cloud Engineers to support one of its clients at multiple locations. Primary role includes the designing, building, delivering, and documenting cloud-based solutions to end customer. Selected engineers will report to the Cloud Engineering supervisor and support deliverables to meet customer objectives. Engineer Duties Include: • Work closely with software developers and programmers
• Ensure solid system performance and support application development with new technologies and system requirements
• Design and implement robust information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure
• Analyze system requirements and define technology infrastructure, including server capacity, storage, and networking protocol
• Annotate infrastructure designs, configs, processes, and any unforeseen challenges for monitoring Information Technology health
• Create security measures to protect data and networks
• Assist in overseeing that architecture projects meet rigorous security standards, integrate with current applications, and are scalable for present and future needs Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • A minimum of four (4+) years of demonstrated AWS Cloud Engineer experience
• Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Openshift, and/or similar tools
• Cloud certification or related operating system certification is a must
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification required
• TS/SCI with poly is required for this role
