Job Summary The Safety Coordinator supports warehouse leadership in ensuring company safety standards, implementing safety process updates, and assists in conducting equipment training. The role is also instrumental in promoting a safety-focused culture.SHIFT SCHEDULEMonday-Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AMStarting wage is $21.00/hr and a potential of up to $0.88 in raises every 6 monthsResponsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Conduct warehouse visual safety walks, focusing on identifying issues and maintaining compliance with both internal and external regulations and policies.Perform periodic inspections of various warehouse safety areas, such as emergency exit doors, fire extinguishers, eye-wash stations etc.Maintain safety resources such as stocking first-aid stations and keeping inventory of PPEComplete monthly fire extinguisher and eye wash station inspections, reporting findings to the on-site safety manager.Assist in conducting one-on-one new hire training related to equipment operations and group safety procedures via presentations/written materials.Maintain organized forklift training records for all employees, ready for inspection at any timeProvide regular updates to the management team regarding workplace safety issuesMeet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of workMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goalsAbide by all company and warehouse policiesFlex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation#J-18808-Ljbffr
