Job DescriptionED-ParamedicPart Time I Third Shift (12hrs)Emergency Department I Lexington, KYAdministers direct care to the patient of all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician's assistant, emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or a professional registered nurse. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies as well as paramedic scope of practice.DescriptionPatient Assessment in conjunction with an RN repeat assessment.Provides care to the ED patient.Accurate Documentation of care provided into EMR system.Ensures positive customer relations interactions.RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentLicensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-ParamedicBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
