We have an immediate opening for a Navy Manpower/Manning Specialist to join our team. This position will provide an opportunity to works closely with SCSTC N1 to develop and evaluate technical solutions in support of training and deployment of naval combat systems capability. Kitty Hawk employees work closely with our customers to develop solutions that support national engineering and security missions. The ideal candidate will support our team in providing program support to the Department of Defense (DoD). The employee will also enjoy a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, update, and evaluate Navy Training Management and Manpower databases such as Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS), Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource Systems (CeTARS), and Fleet Training Management Planning System (FLTMPS) to determine manpower requirementsAnalyze activity manpower documents such as Activity Manning Documents (AMD)Analyze data and detect trends as well as summarize findings, draw conclusions and develop presentationsAssist in the annual review of training and manpower requirements in support of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processRequirementsRequired QualificationsMust have a High School diploma and at least 4 years of experience and detailed knowledge of the U.S. Navy Manpower and Manning programs and regulationsMust have an in-depth working knowledge of the Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS), Fleet Training Management Planning System (FLTMPS), My Navy Assignment (MNA), and other manpower and manning programsMust be knowledgeable of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processMust have knowledge of the United States Navy requisition system, Priority Manning and all other Manning forms and processesSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office tools for daily operations, with strong emphasis on Excel-based data handling and reportingAbility to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD clearance – U.S. Citizenship is requiredPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience conducting billet-level alignment and PMAP analyses to support optimal workforce configuration and long-term personnel planningPerform complex tasks in Excel, such as building multi-step formulas, designing PivotTables, and applying data integrity checks to ensure accuracy across large and evolving datasetsExperience in designing Power BI visualizations and dashboards that convey key performance indicators, manpower utilization, and readiness metrics to command leadershipAbility to utilize AI-supported data initiatives, including streamlining repetitive analysis processes and applying automation to enhance forecasting accuracy for training and personnel requirementsAbility to interpret data using Excel, Power BI, and AI to support manpower planning and readinessTravelThere is occasional travel (less than 10%)401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000 – $85,000 per yearIf you have any questions, please reach out to alexandra.harris@kittyhawktech.com.#J-18808-Ljbffr
