The position is a great opportunity to work in a museum. The Maxwell Museum strives to be the most welcoming museum on campus. As the first person visitors will see upon entering, being a Gallery Attendant is a job for a people person. In this position, you will:Assist with opening and closing the museum;Greet and assist museum visitors, including providing information on museum rules and exhibitions;Issue parking permits to visitors;Keep daily tally of visitors and records numbers;Provide coverage in the museum gift shop, when needed;Run errands to different UNM departments;Help with upkeep and installation and deinstallation of exhibitions;Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsPreferred QualificationsCustomer service orientedApplication InstructionsOnly applications submitted throughthe official UNMJobs site will be accepted.
