Loss Prevention Officer – Mason City, IAImmediate opening for a full‑time position.Job DescriptionIdentify shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TVReport writingInteracting with local law enforcement agencies as neededProvide courtroom testimony as requiredAbility to read, write and speak English proficiently.Full‑time / 40 hours per week$22.00 per hourHealth Insurance / 401kPaid Time OffJob RequirementsPre‑Employment criminal background and drug screenAbility to sit, stand and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a timeReliable transportationAbility to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written meansAbility to write legible, accurate and easily understood reportsMust be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontationMust be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervisionAttendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not toleratedPrevious loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirementHigh school diploma or equivalent (minimum)Criminal Justice or related studies a plusThis is an immediate opening.
