The Firefighter may also perform additional functions or assignments as directed by his/her superior officers. As a member of the firefighting team, the incumbent is responsible for performing specialized tasks under the supervision of a company officer. Performs duties under stressful conditions, where personal danger may be present, often requiring independent discretion in decision making.
