On-the-job training will be provided.Key Responsibilities Install and maintain traffic control devices on or adjacent to job sites.Set and maintain traffic control throughout project duration, ensuring devices remain in proper location and working condition.Construct sign foundations, including setting forms, placing reinforcing steel and anchor bolts, and pouring concrete.Erect pipe and angle iron frameworks by bolting, welding, or other approved methods prior to sign installation.Install prefabricated directional and informational signs by hoisting into place and fastening to frameworks.Read and work from plans to accurately locate, drill holes, and position signs.Perform related signing work, including delineators, pavement striping, striping removal, reflective pavement markers, lane closures, and detours.Service, maintain, and repair equipment and traffic control devices as needed.Job Requirements Reliable attendance with the ability to report to work on time each day.Dependable transportation to and from the job site.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures.Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds.Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.Must possess a valid driver's license.Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred and may result in a higher hourly wage.Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor training is preferred; however, training may be provided during employment.Quail Construction, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
