Task Lead & Senior International SOF Support SME

Hoplite Group is seeking a Task Lead & Senior International SOF Support SME to support the Directorate of Operations, J3-International (J3-I) Division at U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This individual will serve as the contractor Task Lead and provide senior-level expertise supporting international SOF collaboration, interoperability, and partner nation integration efforts. Location: On-site support at HQ USSOCOM, MacDill AFB, FL, with CONUS and OCONUS travel as required in support of the SOF enterprise. Position Type: Full-Time Contract Opportunity Availability: September 2026 / Contingent Upon Contract Award Objective: Support USSOCOM J3-International (J3-I) mission objectives by overseeing contractor support activities, supporting strategic planning efforts, and assisting with integration of Partner Nation (PN) SOF capabilities across the SOF enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Senior (O-5 or above) Army Special Forces officer with 15 years combined experience in operations and Partner Nation (PN) development at the O-6 command, Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC), or NATO SOF Headquarters level.
  • Master's degree in International Relations or related field.
  • Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or equivalent military planning course.
  • 1 year of recent (within the last 5 years) combat/operational experience as part of a Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force or TSOC staff.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with coalition SOF partners.
  • Graduate of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Level II or equivalent.
  • Current DoW Top Secret clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
