Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate project budgeting and timelines.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids to determine the best value for the project.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
- Identify potential cost-saving measures without compromising project quality or safety standards.
- Assist in preparing bid proposals and presentations for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and project documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and labor costs to provide the most accurate estimates.
