TS SCI W/ CI Poly Cleared IAM Cloud Engineer
Our client, a leader in the HCM space is in need of a Cloud IAM Engineer for a 1 year contract with a strong likelihood of extension. This individual will be working a hybrid schedule out of Reston VA to support identity and access management initiatives for highly secure Department of Defense and Intelligence Community environments. The Cloud IAM Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable authentication, authorization, and entitlement management frameworks across cloud environments while supporting automation, compliance, and secure access controls within air-gapped networks.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Experience designing and implementing centralized authentication, authorization, RBAC, and PBAC frameworks in AWS environments
- Hands-on experience with IAM services and cloud-native identity solutions
- Experience managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, GitHub, or similar tools
- Experience developing automation solutions using Python or other scripting/programming languages
- Experience integrating cloud platforms with Okta, Entra ID, or similar identity providers for SSO and centralized authentication
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure/Compliance as Code
- Strong understanding of federation protocols including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM
- Experience utilizing SIEM tools such as Splunk for log aggregation, auditing, and security monitoring
- US Citizenship required
- Active TS SCI w/ CI Poly Clearance
Nice to Haves:
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community environments
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and federal security compliance frameworks
- Experience with identity governance, entitlement management, and user lifecycle management processes
- Experience supporting secure, air-gapped cloud environments
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and least-privilege access models
