Outstanding Benefits and Opportunities As a Neurosurgeon in the U.S. Army, you will combine your trainings in both neurology and surgery to provide care to Soldiers and their families. You may have opportunities conducting research for the development of your field and consult other top specialists in neurology and neurosurgery. In addition to your research and patient care, you will attend trainings, continued education courses, seminars and conferences to develop yourself as a healthcare professional and an Army officer. If you choose to join the Army Reserve, you will be able to serve your country as needed while still supporting your community.
