Join to apply for the Correctional Officer role at Winnebago County .The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Corrections Officer. The successful applicant will perform the duties and responsibilities of a Corrections Officer.Starting wages are $26.46/hour (effective 1/1/2025).Shift schedules are 12-hour days, in a rotating 2-week schedule. Officers work 15 days a month with this cycle.Probationary officers will be assigned to day shift (6am-6pm) or night shift (6pm-6am) based on operational needs.
