We are looking for a Dispatch Operator to join our Cimsa Americas Team!This position is located in Houston, Texas.If you are interested in developing your professional career in the cement sector, send your resume and cover note to us.Responsibilities of the Dispatch Operator at Cimsa Americas include:Operate and manage the movements of PD Car (cement railcar).Communicate with CCR operators to understand and operate the machinery from the field.Coordinate silo truck operations and communicate with the shipping office as needed.Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment according to diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for issues to locate causes of trouble.Operate the entire process (including finish grinding mill and rotary packer) as per standard procedures to meet production requirements.Start machines, monitor mechanical operation for efficiency, and detect problems.Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas.Promote and maintain an environmentally compliant and safety-oriented plant in accordance with OSHA and company standards.Ensure adherence to plant rules and safety protocols during operation and maintenance to minimize injuries and incidents.Participate in weekly safety meetings and provide feedback on unsafe conditions or equipment issues.Perform additional duties as assigned.Skills and requirements for this role include:High school diploma or equivalent experience.Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of working around moving equipment and machinery.Basic operation skills.Ability to give and follow directions.Regular attendance and punctuality.Comfort with heights and working in confined spaces.Willingness to work extended hours and weekends if needed.ÇİMSA values equality, diversity, and inclusiveness as part of its business culture and implements related policies.
