On-Call Event Security Officer

Job OverviewWe're seeking dependable on-call security officers to provide coverage for events, emergencies, and shift gaps. Ideal for individuals who are flexible, alert, and ready to respond on short notice.Schedule and Position DetailsPositions are available from April 18th – December 6th, 2026.Location: Columbia, Md.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive Pay: $19.00 hourly.Benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k), Paid Vacation.ResponsibilitiesAccess control for guests, tenants, and vendors.Enforcement of Client and Company policies and procedures.Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards.Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building.Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client, and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate.Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsMust be at least 21 years of age.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (Amphetamines, including methamphetamines, Cocaine, Marijuana/THC, Phencyclidine, and Opiates).Must possess exceptional customer service skills.Must be able to multitask.Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products.Must be able to operate and maintain site‑specific security programs.Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience. One year of military, concierge or an AA or BA in a related field will be considered as well.Must have reliable transportation.Must have a valid Maryland Security Guard Card.Additional InformationThis position may require work inside and outside in varying temperatures.
