Traffic Control Flagger

The Traffic Control Flagger is responsible for implementing and maintaining traffic control measures to ensure the safety of both construction personnel and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, monitor, and remove traffic control devices including signage, cones and barricades.
  • Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely around construction zones.
  • Coordinate traffic movements in conjunction with other flaggers and on-site construction teams.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain situational awareness and remain attentive throughout extended work periods.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in traffic control or flagging is preferred.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past three (3) years.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and extended shifts.
