People will always be our greatest asset and we place emphasis on enhancing the lives of our employees.Scope of ResponsibilityThe Manufacturing Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for safeguarding company assets by reducing theft, minimizing inventory shrink, and ensuring the secure handling of all materials. This role works closely with Operations, HR, Finance, Inventory, and Safety to identify vulnerabilities, implement controls, and maintain a secure, compliant, and efficient facility.Essential DutiesAsset Protection & Theft PreventionMonitor and investigate internal and external theft, unauthorized removal of materials, and suspicious activity within the facilities.Conduct routine security audits of production areas, yard, tool rooms, inventory areas, storage areas, and employee-access zones.Partner with HR and supervisors to support investigations, interviews, and documentation related to loss incidents.Document and follow up on all loss-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and tracking trends.Inventory & Material ControlPerform regular cycle counts, spot checks, and variance reviews for materials and high-value items.Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Maintain chain-of-custody procedures for materials.Support enhancements to material labeling, tracking, and physical controls.Security Systems & Facility ControlsMonitor cameras, access control systems, and alarms; report malfunctions or needed improvements.Manage security at each facility to include outside vendors, efficiencies and upgrades where needed.Recommend upgrades to surveillance, lighting, fencing, and controlled access areas.Assist in implementing badge access systems, secure storage cages, and controls.Policy, Training & ComplianceAssist in developing and enforcing loss-prevention policies and procedures.Provide training to supervisors and employees on theft deterrence and material handling.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.Collaboration & ReportingWork cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Inventory, HR, Safety, and Security to maintain a loss-controlled environment.Prepare regular reports summarizing shrink trends, investigations, and corrective actions.Recommend process improvements to reduce risk and strengthen facility integrity.Position RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience2-3 years' experience in loss prevention, security, inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred.Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of CCTV systems, access control tools, and investigative best practices.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify vulnerabilities in workflows.Ability to conduct interviews professionally and maintain confidentiality.Basic understanding of inventory management processes; ERP/WMS experience a plus.Ability to work in manufacturing environments including production floors and yard/lot areas.Proven track record of building support and credibility with all levels of employees.Ability to engage, inspire, influence, and coach people.Effective team player.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk in production environments for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs. as needed for inventory audits or material inspections.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision coverage401(k) with Company MatchContinuing Education & Tuition ReimbursementLife and Disability CoveragePaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysHealth and Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsEqual Opportunity EmployerSabre Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer: M/F/Vets/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity#J-18808-Ljbffr
