Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.Accountability and Specific Duties:Ensure a high level of service is maintained and delivery expectations are met, while maximizing efficiencies relative to customer needsCoordinate, schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to orders, customer requests or specificationsEnsure drivers arrive within scheduled timeframe as instructed by customerIdentify priorities and utilize available resources effectively to meet these prioritiesCommunicate effectively with customers, drivers, supervisors and co-workers, providing concise instruction or informationUse effective listening skills to collect required information and elevate pertinent informationData entry and heavy volume of phone callsConfer with customers and/or other personnel to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipmentAssist drivers and keep coworkers informed of daily activitiesOther tasks and projects assigned by managerBasic RequirementsExperience or Basic understanding of the fuel transportation industryTeam player who demonstrates fairness and concern for drivers while meeting and exceeding customer needsMust have strong mathematical skills with calculating percentages and mileageReside within reasonable commuting distanceMust have a flexible schedule, and be able to work nights and weekendsMust be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environmentExcellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple deadlinesExcellent data entry skillsStable past employment historyProfessional appearance and demeanorProficient computer skills, including Microsoft programsPreferredDispatch Software Experience (Prefer Smartlogix)SAP experienceExperience as a dispatcher in the fuel transportation industryKnowledge of transportation paperwork and terminology, D.O.T. regulationsAt RelaDyne, you'll find more than just a job - you'll discover a career with a company that values people, teamwork, and growth .
