As a dispatcher, you'll be the heartbeat of operations — connecting drivers, customers, and freight agents to keep loads rolling smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesDriver & Load CoordinationAssign loads to company drivers and independent owner-operators.Ensure routes are optimized for efficiency, safety, and timeliness.Monitor driver hours, DOT compliance, and load progress.Customer & Carrier CommunicationAct as the single point of contact for customers on active loads.Provide timely updates and resolve issues quickly.Coordinate with freight agents to match loads to available equipment.Problem-Solving & ComplianceTroubleshoot delays, equipment breakdowns, or routing challenges.Ensure drivers follow weight, load securement, and legal requirements.Document all communications, updates, and incidents accurately.Technology & ReportingUse TMS (Transportation Management System) and dispatch software to track loads.Maintain accurate load boards and driver schedules.Report KPIs to management (on-time %, empty miles, driver utilization).Qualifications2+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or fleet operations (trucking industry preferred).Strong communication skills — both with drivers and customers.Ability to work under pressure and solve problems in real time.Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance.Computer proficiency (TMS, Excel, load boards, GPS tracking tools).Positive, team-first attitude with a commitment to customer service.What We Offer✔️ Competitive salary + performance incentives✔️ Health, dental, and vision benefits (after probation)✔️ Opportunities for growth and advancement✔️ Training in specialized freight markets (nursery, construction, aggregates)✔️ A team culture where dispatchers, drivers, and agents are respected and supportedBe part of a logistics team that delivers more than freight — we deliver success, safety, and satisfaction.#J-18808-Ljbffr
